Failed generations cost you nothing. Credits are refunded automatically and immediately whenever the model returns an error, times out, or produces no output. You will see the credits returned to your balance before you even notice the failure. Subjective quality issues — 'I don't like this output' — are not refundable; only technical failures are.

Credits remain valid for exactly 90 days from the date they are granted. For example, credits granted on 1 January expire on 1 April (Jan + 90 days, non-leap year). Credits granted on 28 February expire on 29 May (non-leap year) or 28 May (leap year). Oldest credits are consumed first (FIFO), so unused credits from earlier grants are spent before newer ones.

To prevent abuse from credit hoarding — for example, accumulating a year of credits then dumping them on a peak day. 90 days gives you plenty of headroom for normal workflows including travel and projects, while keeping our routing capacity predictable.

No. Your plan terms (price, credit grant, model access) are locked for as long as you remain subscribed at that tier. If we raise prices for new signups, existing subscribers stay at the price they signed up at unless they choose to upgrade.

Yes, occasionally. Models can be deprecated when a newer version is released, when the upstream provider sunsets the model, or when an older version is superseded. When this happens we publish the change in advance and your remaining credits stay usable across the rest of the catalog — including the newer replacement model. We don't remove models silently.
